This website is set up for sharing music and learning guitar. It grows from questions students ask me every day.
It is not a commercial website though it carries links to others which are, eg band sites or on-line publishers. It is free to use, but to remain free it carries some advertising to show what is out there. All efforts are made to ensure that unsuitable ads are filtered out.
How to use this site:
This site does two jobs. It shares advice on technique and helps with notation and theory. Basically, early pages are for beginners and reading music but later pages deal with electric guitar and bass guitar techniques.
Where possible tunes are accompanied by MP3. Even simple tunes can be brought to life when played with a simple backing track.
There is a webform for feedback on the contact us page. Please feel free to use it if you want help with a particular technique, or even just let us know how you are doing with your music and what you find most useful! Guitarlincs is new and things are added regularly so please come back if you don't see "it" just yet! Or even better send a message.
